Me: I think I'm going to go take a trip to Northrend.
JD: Ok.
JD: When you said that... it sounded like you were going to go somewhere real.
Me: ...Whatever.

I’m feeling really nervous/anxious tonight, and I don’t know why.

Compost Revolution: What to compost & what not to... →
compostrevolution: What to Compost: GRASS/LAWN CLIPPINGS Actually, it’s usually easier to leave grass clippings in the lawn, where they will decompose and benefit the soil directly. However, they can be composted, too. Be cautious to add grass clippings in very thin layers, or thoroughly mix them in with…

– sylvia plath (via youarenotyou) This will always be one of my favorite book passages.  it is a wonderful explanation of a very specific kind of procrastination.

This is really weird, but I think our catsitter threw out my saved paper bags of compost. Which… yes, it’s trash.  But it isn’t smelly trash, the smelly stuff goes in the freezer.  This was just nut shells, paper towels, and dried tea bags/ dried pomegranate husks.  Anything with a smell, again, is in it’s own compost bags in the freezer.  but I don’t have enough...

My mother in law got me some new sweaters as an early Christmas present, and I am super excited because they are way nice than clothes I buy for myself, and also amused because I think this is her way of um, trying to insure that I dress nicely for the big Christmas vacation trip.

My recurring dream of late is that it’s the end of the semester, and I haven’t been to class/ missed some exams/ haven’t turned in papers. I’ve been out of any kind of school for over a year now.  Can these please stop? Note: still preferable to the dreams in which Athena or Bear accidentally get outside.

So, we went out to the plaza district thing tonight because All These Cute Stores!!! Christmas Shopping meets fun!!!  Yay!!! And then I realized that pretty much no one in my family would appreciate the pseudo hipstery stuff that is the only thing sold in that area. Got two fun sweaters for twenty bucks though.  Even if one of them is totally, totally 80s.
